Today, I’ve been browsing the BBC Radio 4 Website looking for interesting content to listen to and I’ve found out a web section devoted to an event that is going to happen next week at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, on December the 10th. This exciting event is the first attempt to circulate a beam in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the largest and most complex scientific instrument ever built and the highest energy particle accelerator in the world.
The BBC Radio 4 Big Bang website features information about the experiment that is going to be made next week and an audio archive with programme where you can listen to interviews and debates about particle physics, the past and the future, hosted by Andrew Marr. In another interesting section you can also watch videos with several interviews to scientists and comedians too! :)
I’m going to be glued to my firefox web browser next week for not missing a programme about the greatest event in years!
